OUR PROCESS
The Consultation
Once we've had our first phone call, we'll set up a consultation that typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes at your home. This will give us the chance to really get to know you, your preferences, and what you're hoping to achieve with your landscaping project. We'll share our ideas and approach to design, communication, project scope, and budget, so that you have a clear understanding of the entire process.
After the consultation, we will provide you with a Personalized Design Proposal & Contract that will detail the design work, goals, estimated fee, payment terms, timeline, and conditions. If you are satisfied with the proposal, we will ask for an initial payment of 50% of the design fee to commence the project. Once we receive your approval and payment, we will start creating a personalized design plan for you.
Site Measurements and Initial Concept Plan
Step 1: Collecting Site Data
For an accurate landscape design plan, we require precise and reliable data. To obtain this information, we'll schedule a follow-up visit to your residence and take exact measurements of your property. We'll use this data to create a 3D model of your home and property at our office, which will form the foundation for your unique design.
Step 2: Initial Concept Plan
Within 2 weeks of taking the site measurements, we will send you the Initial Concept Plan in the form of a 2D Layout plan and some 3D realistic screenshots via Google Drive. This plan will show you what direction we are going in.
Feedback and Revisions
Step 3: Feedback
After sending you the Initial Concept Plan Google Drive link by email, we will arrange a Zoom meeting to receive your detailed feedback. This meeting is important to ensure that our design aligns with your expectations. After the Zoom meeting we will proceed with any requested modifications.
Final Design Package and Optional Video Presentation
Step 4: Final Design Package
The process of creating the Final Design Package will take between 1 to 3 weeks. If you have requested our add-on package for the YouTube Video Presentation, it will be included with the Final Design Package. Access to your final screenshots and video presentation will be granted once we receive the payment for your final invoice.
Layout Plans
Step 5: Layout Plans & Presentation Package
The final design package will also include a printed plan and presentation package that will guide your chosen contractor in implementing your design plan.
